Information About Ron

My name is Ron Norton, and I am a Christian Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). My family and I have lived in central Washington since 1999, and I do counseling in the Wenatchee, Ephrata, Quincy, and Moses Lake areas.

Over the last 30 years I have served as a counselor, pastor, and executive director with Youth for Christ. I have a Masters in Counseling from Heritage University, a Masters in Christian Education (CE) from George Fox University, and Bachelor degrees in CE and Bible from Biola University. I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and the International Board of Christian Counselors (IBCC). I am an ordained minister and actively involved as a layman at an evangelical Christian church in Quincy. Over the years I have had a broad range of counseling experiences, counseling individuals, couples, families, and groups.

My counseling approach is based on biblical principles, and conservative family morals and values. I believe that with God’s guidance, godly counsel can bring change and goals can be achieved. My counseling techniques are eclectic, and I believe my task as a counselor is to discover what works best with each client and then develop a counseling plan based on their individual needs. As a LMHC I am able to work with most insurance companies. I have a sliding pay scale to accommodate each client’s financial situation.
